Jill The Flag Girl

As I was watching the VHS band marching and playing for the Homecoming game I remembered that Jill was a flag girl. I decided to snap a couple of shots of her for the fun of it. Obviously the lights were low and the speed of the camera could not keep up with the lack of light and the movement but the pictures are quite interesting. Jill did a GREAT job out there!!
Next time I will snap some shots of Jackie, Roie and Whitney!! They were awesome too!

Kickball and S'mores!

The simpliest things in life give the greatest pleasure. Who would have thought that a simple game of kickball would be so enjoyable. You don't have to be athletic, coordinated or agile to have a good time at kickball. It has been decades since I've played kickball, tetherball or even hopscotch, but I dare wager that all those kinds of activities would be absolutely fun with the Briarwood Young Women and Young Men. Everyone played, everyone smiled and I think everyone wanted to play even longer.

S'Mores in the parking lot afterward left everyone wanting S'More good fun!

The Blind Side

I walked into Michele's home and the smell of popcorn was overwhelming and triggered one of my favorite pasttimes of going to a movie and eating popcorn. You just really can't enjoy popcorn properly without watching a movie. While the graduating seniors graduated from Seminary, the rest of us watched The Blind Side and ate popcorn. Hadley Bangerter made the very BEST carmel corn too. I made myself right at home with the carmel corn.

Creating camp head bands, flag and practicing our skit!
Preparing for camp with the girls is so fun.
Aimee Crockett absolutely did not want to rehearse the skit. She gave the most deadpan lines which made it even funnier! That girl just doesn't quite know how funny she really is. Or does she?

Megan Davis always willing to help and share her artistic talent.

Details, details, details. Concentrating on making each individual headband unique as much as they were the same.
